We called this evening on spec and found the restaurant welcoming from the start. It was a warm evening and the doors were wide open onto the terrace. Our table was facing the open doors, which made the most of the setting. Although it's not the most picturesque part of town, they are certainly making the most of what they have got. The food and service were excellent and the prices fair. One thing that really impressed us was that they hadn't succumbed to the temptation, as some local gastro pubs have, to serve expensive frozen chips to people who wouldn't dream of having them at home. The Levant serves perfect homemade chips and the king prawn hanging kebabs were also perfect, with marinated prawns and fresh vegetables. The creme brulee was also perfect. Thoroughly recommended. Excellent lunch Rather than have a wrap or panini I went for a starter & two sides. Scallops on a bed of Parmentier potatoes and salsa and prosecco sauce. Honey roasted baby carrots and onion rings .Great and my friend had a chicken ceaser salad wrap. rather a lot for a light bite. Both of us will visit again. Excellent cocktails good choice and great value.Menu is substantial.We all had a kabab lamb, chicken and halomi they were all stunning, with pitta, coleslaw and alioli amazing and filling. Pudding was good too and an excellent choice sticky toffee pudding was stunning. And the lemon tart was as well. Ideal for large groups. Good service, toilets clean and nice atmosphere, will return. This place has so much potential, excellent area for cosy eating and the restaurant area is lovely, midweek deals would be a plus as the surroundings are the best in Wrexham, the staff are very welcoming and I sensed that they really want to push the place, really positive but the good people of Wrexham need to experience what they have to offer.
