As we have registered nurses working we are able to complete thorough assessments when a person is deteriorating.

The minute I heard Louise on the telephone I knew she was the nurse for us. I asked my stepdaughter who was a nurse to check out her credentials, all exemplary.
She immediately fitted in with my husband and my family. My husband was not an easy patient and I couldn't get him to do some of the things which were required of him. In came Louise and her word was law she could get him to do anything. She is a brilliant, caring, thoughtful nurse, putting her own life on hold in favour of her patient.
Not only did she look after the patient she took on board the complex needs of the family and looked after them as well.
I couldn't recommend her more highly. Once our GP and District Nurse met her they were happy to leave the day to day medication and treatment of wounds to her which made my husband feel confident in the continuity of his care.
I personally can't thank her enough for what she did for us.

What do you love most about your job?
I have been nursing for over 20 years, meeting so many individuals has been insightful.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The current situation with Covid-19 and the changes in legislation means that a lot of individuals are going to be left feeling alone and need care. Hambleton Imdependent Living aims to offer support to people and their family through these tough times and provide the highest standards of care.

For individuals lookimg for companionship this can be provided remotely, however we will always endeavour to see you in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All staff members will be double vaccinated in line with the new government regulations. Staff will wear PPE at all times whilst with you to resuce the risk of disease transmission. PPE is changed inbetween each individual.
