What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is very simple, it is seeing the positive changes and impacts coaching can bring to people and organisations. Having hit some real lows after major life challenges and changes, I decided to explore coaching for myself. After personally experiencing the powerful insights and motivation coaching can bring, I was a convert!
Growing up with a loved one who has experienced serious mental illness, I know how vital it is to build resilience, self-belief and optimism into your life. One of the most fulfilling things for me is encouraging the personal and professional development of others. I believe we can never cease to surprise ourselves in what we can achieve. That's why FutureSpark Coaching is here!
What inspired you to start your own business?
FutureSpark Coaching is for me an whole ethos of living and believing. Coaching, particularly leadership coaching, is often seen largely in the domain of corporate executive roles. I want to bring exceptional life coaching and executive leadership coaching to a whole new audience.
My professional background
I am a qualified life, business and executive coach trained by the Coach Institute of Ireland with a MSc in Development Management. I am also a member of the Association for Coaching. In my career to date I have worked in the private and third sector. I have loved the diversity of my work to date spanning CEO and other senior roles in the fields of mental health, international development, age sector, economic regeneration and employability.

In one word, authenticity. I genuinely believe in the power of coaching, the difference it can make and live by it. I simply aim to give my all in coaching, business and leadership. Gifting your skills to others as a coach and working with your clients to unlock insights, new directions and self-awareness so they can achieve what they set out to do in a partnership of equals is what I feel a great coaching relationship is all about.
