How counselling can Help
Are you unhappy with specific aspects of your life? Or perhaps you are experiencing a general sense of unease? Making the initial decision to attend counselling can be difficult and takes courage, but the benefits can be immense.
As a counsellor, I believe in building trust with my clients where feelings can be carefully considered, and change can be explored in a safe and understanding environment where your own personal resources come to the fore.
What to expect from counselling
The foundation for my approach to counselling is Person-Centred, and building on this, I integrate a range of evidence based counselling and psychotherapeutic models and tools that can be adapted to your needs.
I offer both focused short-term work and open-ended or longer-term work. I also understand that not everyone can travel to see a counsellor so in some cases, I can offer counselling online, by telephone, or in specific circumstances home visits.
What to expect from your first session
At the first session we will have the opportunity to meet and discuss your needs and how we might best work together to achieve your goals.
My approach to counselling
I view therapy as a dynamic journey of self-discovery and growth, requiring close collaboration with clients to explore new possibilities, navigate challenges, and unearth new personal resources. Together, we create a secure, nurturing space where clients find their voice, rebuild self-worth, and embark on their unique path to their best life.
