Sheffield Dog Rescue
Carrie-Anne is working with Sheffield Dog Rescue with some of our dogs that need reassurance and some training, she is very gentle with them and fully understands their needs, they soon learn to trust her and just want to please. Carrie-Anne realises that some of these dogs may not have had the best start in their lives and she is doing a marvellous job of building up their confidence and teaching them new commands that they will need in their future homes. Thank you Carrie-Anne. Our Yorkies were a nightmare. They’d bark and cry every time we left the house, they destroyed cushions and shoes even if we just nipped to the shops. Now they’re brilliant. We stuck with the training and now we can go out and the dogs are not stressed, so the house doesn’t get destroyed! 100% recommend! Great value for money as well! More...

I cannot thank Carrie-Anne enough! We were at our wits end with Ruby and dreaded taking her for walks. She would pull me over, had no recall what so ever and would bark at every dog and cyclist she saw. I used to dread taking her out every day. Carrie-Anne taught me in small steps as part of Ruby’s usual walk and after a couple of weeks of sticking to the training plan she provided, Ruby was no longer pulling! We still keep her on lead when other dogs are around as Carrie-Anne advised, but we can let her off for runs when we are alone and she comes straight back. We don’t have any more barking and we all enjoy Ruby’s walks now. Thank you! More...

Thank you for your review. It was lovely working with you and Ruby and she is a credit to you and the work and dedication you have put in to understanding her.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the change in the dogs behaviour, seeing the hoomans happy and more relaxed. I love providing the knowledge to be able to live a happy calm life with the dog(s). Always a bonus to the job, doggy cuddles!!!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Rescuing dogs, working in rescue and understanding why dogs are there. I have rescued my own and they have had their own challenges. I want to help people who have a puppy, a rescue or any dog to get the most out of their relationship.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am experienced around a number of breeds and problems. I am also an owner of a dog that came to me with many issues. I have learnt from her how to communicate and understand life from a dogs perspective. I have multiple diplomas and acrredited training certificates. I have learnt from Jan Fenell. Most of all my training is fun for both the dogs and owners and judgement free. We have all been there with a difficult dog and I understand how that feels.
