RE: Party at Rotunda Bar – duo with female singer
Just wanted to say a big thank you again to you and your jazz singer for helping to make my birthday celebration so special - it was exactly what I wanted and you two work so well together.
Thank you so much for the songs you learned specifically and, of course, for 'New York, New York' - who knew we could kick our legs so high in such long dresses!
I had a fabulous evening - perhaps being 50 isn't so bad after all!

Great hub for the community to use. Plenty of space for a multifunctional venue although it's primarily geared towards The Arts.

What do you love most about your job?
I always wanted to be a musician for a living, and every day that's still true I am grateful for. It's a privilege to be able to use one's talent to spread joy through music whilst doing what I feel I was put here to do!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was fed up with my 9-5 office job, and though I was gigging regularly I really wanted it to be my full time profession. I knew that doing a job that makes me and others happy was more important than having a well paid office-based job that made me sad. In 2007 I made the leap to full time, and have never looked back.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have played for many bars, hotels, restaurants and private functions over the past 30 years. I take great pride in giving my clients the experience they want, within my abilities. Sometimes this means going that extra mile, learning that special song, arriving somewhere 4 hours early because there's no access once the guests arrive, hiring in an extra musician because the client happens to love accordion music or suchlike. And I have many musical friends that I am happy to recommend if there's something I'm not able to offer, no commission or deals, just helping out colleagues who will do the same for me.
