Where do I start, I highly recommend Angelicare after the way they looked after my loving grandad. He was the happiest man in the 17 and half months than he was being cared by such highly knowledgeable and loving people.

What do you love most about your job?
I have been in care for 26 yrs and have been involved in all aspects of care from nursing home, domiciliary, residential homes, hospitals, mental health units. I have obtained diplomas in Health & Social Care at Level 3 & 5.
I have a lot of affinity for the elderly, I enjoy listening to their stories and comparing how things are today and listening to how things have changes since their days. I want to be able to assist them in their efforts to remain as independent as possible in their own home, where they will feel at home, secure and are able to make choices to have what they want when they want.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business because I felt that a lot of the agencies were only in the job for the money. They were not really interested in issues that might have arisen during the period of looking after a client and they continued to turn a blind eye. I felt that carers were put at risk, and their reviews on a client were not heeded.
I knew with my qualifications, training and experience I would be able to provide a service that recognised a clients needs fully, but also considered the well-being of the carers too.

I am professional in my approach to work , conscientious, reliable and strive to meet the needs of the clients that we have. I am approachable at all times.
Staff are trained in the mandatory units of Health & Social care and encouraged to develop themselves to achieve higher qualifications.
Live-in Care
24 hr live-in with the client. Meeting their needs after an assessment has taken place. This could be assisting with personal care, mobility, cooking, shopping, light housework, washing, ironing, going out to appointments, enabling you to keep your independents as much as possible.
