Tim is a very personable trainer that has lots of professional knowledge to offer and cares about you like a friend, very encouraging and understanding.

He tailors your plan based on your own personal goals, level of experience, personality & motivation level, through gym sessions and coaching you on how to eat healthier meals.

It was my first time training with a personal trainer but he eased the training in and I truly trusts him in every session. He gives clear directions, adjusts your position to use the right muscles while making sure you are not getting hurt, and creates an environment that encourages raising any kind of questions or concerns during and even outside of sessions. Whenever I mention a part of my body being tight during an exercise he would make sure it’s ok / we stretch it out before we continue.

I love working with Tim and would highly recommend him if you’re looking for personal trainer :)!

This is the second time I've worked with a personal trainer, and through just two sessions, I understand how much of a positive difference a great trainer like Tim can make. He is extremely attentive and accommodating, making sure you are heard and that your questions in and out of sessions are answered promptly. When I bring up specific physical limitations, Tim is immediately able to provide an alternative move that works with me and additional exercises that help to alleviate the limitation gradually. I also appreciate his check ins throughout the week because it serves as a reminder for me to stay motivated.

I was initially anxious before my first session because I felt clueless when it came to working out, but Tim has eased that anxiety by creating and scheduling clear workout plans that I can follow when working out alone. The amount of time and attention that Tim puts into each of his clients is undeniable, and that alone encourages me to push myself harder.

Tim, this isn’t really a review but my sincere THANK YOU letter to you.

At first I was honestly just looking to fork some money in on a trainer so that I will have no choice but to “make it to the session. ” - that was my mindset. I was this depressed, disorganized, reluctant, blame-everyone/everything-but-me type of a person. I was constantly comparing myself to how I WAS in the past… when I USED TO BE skinnier, when I was younger, when i was in shape, when i was punctual, when i was tidy… oh the list goes on.

In 2023 I started working out with you and as more sessions go by I started to really appreciate how genuinely passionate you are in helping others achieve a better version of themselves (on top of your knowledge and experience ofc). You always adapt to your learners’ level. You connect with your clients beyond just counting reps and enforcing a program. To people who are suffering from frail mental or/and physical health, you really are doing a life saving, impactful work for the society.
A few months fast forward, I went from a couch potato at her heaviest weight, to now able to go to the gym all by myself at my own will (ladies, you know how intimidating gyms can be), I look for different activities/sports to do daily, itch for a good sweat session if I miss a workout, and most of all, I am so much happier. My outlook on life is no longer “I used to be ABC, but now i can’t do it be because XYZ.” I fully accept who I am now and just enjoy witnessing the little improvement and changes I make along the journey. It is much more liberating and fulfilling. I don’t live in the past as much anymore. I feel like I am finally walking forward instead of in circles. There will be obstacles but at least now have better foundation and tools that I can utilize to get back on my feet.

Thank you for pushing me but also being patient with me. Thank you for guiding me with your program but also listening to me (I know I talk way too much lol). Your holistic approach has really sparked a fire in me. I am super excited for the hard work we are going to put in for what’s coming up in 2024. LFG TEAM RICEPUMP 💪🏻

This was my first time working with a personal trainer. Tim is a very passionate, humorous and encouraging trainer. He listened to my needs and goals, and tailored made the plan for me. I reached out to Tim 2 months ago as I needed some help getting in shape for my wedding day, unlike most trainers Tim’s main focus in not only to get you to your ideal physique he also focuses on strengthening your body and your mindset.

I'll be honest, I have been trying to take control of my health and get in shape for the past few years but nothing seemed to stick. Until I met Tim. Outside of the knowledge he has for the muscle groups, workouts, and nutrition, he's a great individual to learn from. I did not feel intimidated at all during my first session, and it was really enjoyable. He gives you a personalized workout and nutrition plan based on what you're trying to achieve and not some cookie-cutter plan that you can find with a google search. As a rock climber with no experience with a personal trainer and a few injuries, Tim was a fantastic introduction to the personal training experience. He kept my goals, and my concerns in mind throughout my session. He completed my assessment all while giving me feedback and helpful tips for exercising in the future. It was my first time working with a personal trainer, but I found that working with Tim was undoubtedly the most effective training that I have done. He has a clear enthusiasm for training and has an excellent background certification-related to fitness. The most important question I asked myself before finding a personal trainer was who would help me get the results I wanted. Firstly, Tim taught me techniques that I could not master through observation alone or a new set of exercises that I could do anywhere without working in the gym. All in the details! I appreciate the attention to form and correction Tim gives. My body doesn’t listen very well so he needs to repeat himself - which I don’t think he minds! Training with @ricepump was such a great experience. I highly recommend Tim @ricepump as a personal trainer. He provided personalized programs and advice for me. We worked a lot on my posture and form. Having had been sitting and looking at the screen for so long, my shoulders are really stiff and Tim taught me some exercises to loosen up and strengthen the relevant muscle groups for better posture. This really helps when I train by myself too.

Besides being an excellent personal trainer, he’s one of the kindest, resilient and pure-hearted person I know.

I would not hesitate to recommend Tim to anyone interested in personal training. Super worth it!

Tim was my training for at least a couple of years. He helped me with not only training the body, but also the mindset. During the training sessions, he showed me that weight lifting is not only about adding weights, but to isolate individual small group muscles. I had two injuries from previous workouts and I’ve been scared to some workouts ever after. Tim patiently help me to correct my form as to prevent further injuries.
