What do you love most about your job?
I love this job because I get to help people navigate through hard times. I am able to equip people with the tools that they need to be successful in the goals that they would like to achieve. It is such a rewarding experience to walk along people as they explore and understand their past circumstance so that they can have a positive future.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want the freedom to work with people that I want to work with, to feel out what therapeutic relationships are the right fit. Working as a contracted counsellor through my own practice I have that freedom.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have worked in the field of mental health and addiction for the last 6 years in various positions. While I am one year new to the counsellor role, I have a significant amount of experience in other positions. I am incredibly knowledgeable about Harm Reduction, abstinence, treatment options, detoxification, and prescription medications. I am confident that I can help you navigate through Substance Misuse, trauma, and other mental health issues.
