Hoosier Doggy staff recognized the signs of a stroke in Ralphie and got her care before I was able to get back into town to take care of her. And I always know they take good care of Ralphie because she is always excited when she gets out of the car and sees we are there. She is not that way at the doctors or other locations we go to. Being someone who knows what goes on behind the scenes here at Hoosier Doggy, I wouldn't board my dogs any other place. I have an energetic lab and a really old dog, and I know they get the best care they could possibly receive in the care of these wonderful ladies who work there.

We dropped off our dog a week ago and just picked her up. We were very nervous to leave her for so long but we were very happy with the video capabilities to check in daily. I’ve always taken my Ori here. He had to stay this week because I just lost my boyfriend (his daddy) suddenly. When I picked Ori up, they had done paw painting and he was dog of the week. I must admit that I was a bit disappointed to find that they did not give my dogs the shirts I’d left for them, despite being advised that blankets/bedding were allowed. Hoosier Doggy is amazing!! I live in NJ, but my brother lives near Indianapolis and sometimes when my family visits him, we bring our two pit bulls mixes. I don't want to leave them in the hotel room all day in case they bark, so they go to day boarding. One of our trips was going to be over Labor Day weekend, and most places are closed on Labor Day except for overnight boarding, so I didn't know what we were going to do with them. Thankfully, a Google search led me to Hoosier Doggy and they were open for day boarding/daycare on Labor Day (in fact, they are only closed 4 major holidays!). I'm glad I found them! In addition to being open, they were very accommodating of my dogs' personalities. Neither is a good fit for socializing with other dogs in daycare. Instead, they were able run around together in a separate area, so they both came home exhausted! The staff is extremely friendly and it seemed like they enjoyed having my dogs there. They also have later hours on the weekend than some other places and their prices are very reasonable. We have been back since that trip and continue to use Hoosier Doggy because my dogs love going there! More...
