I have never had a puppy as young as my Rhett Butler, so I knew I would need help. Good Pup to the rescue! Our trainer, Leanne, matches Rhett’s speed of learning with his training so Rhett doesn’t get bored. Leanne is patient and explains everything so I know exactly what to do. GoodPup is a wonderfully convenient tool for communicating with professional dog trainers 24/7. GoodPup101 allows you to meet with a trainer for 30 minutes per week via video chat to teach your puppy commands while assigning you daily homework. My trainer, Tamaran, was phenomenal! She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. She and the program held me accountable to training my dog on a daily basis and resulted in him graduating from the course knowing how to sit, stay, come, go to spot, leave it, drop it, and touch. He was also crate trained and has made improvements in his potty training. The 29 per week is a reasonable price for everything that GoodPup has to offer and is cheaper and safer than in person training programs. We love helping dogs and dog parents learn to communicate and bond to build a better life together! Our collaborative community of trainers loves helping each other as much as they love helping dogs. We have a diverse array of trainers with different expertise so we can find the perfect match for you and your pup.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our story starts at the humane society, where our co-founder, Lisa, saw families struggle with their new pup's behavior.
Training is tough, and it can be hard to fit in between work and family. Private trainers are expensive. Group classes are inconvenient. Both leave you without any support once you get home.
Lisa wanted to find a better way to train.
So, she started GoodPup. Our training is convenient, affordable, and gives you access to our training and medical team all day, every day.
