We have a passion for the service we provide, the experiences we create, and the food we serve, and it's this unwavering dedication that has helped us become the purpose-driven caterer of the year and one of the highest-rated wakes and funeral caterers We have several service offerings: A fully catered option that includes staffing, your chosen menu, tea, coffee, water soft drink, crockery, glassware, and staff for 4 hours including set up, service, and clear down. As a purpose-driven company, we have a zero food waste policy so we give you Nibble Boxes and will box up any food left over for your guests to enjoy later. We take away our rubbish and leave the kitchen so you would never know we were there. Drop off catering or drop off and set up before you leave for the service or we can arrange this whilst you are out so when you arrive back you have to remove the covers and serve. We lend our customers crockery for free and only charge a collection and washing fee saving you hundreds of pounds in hire charges. All our staff have a DBS checked, and we carry 5 million pounds of public liability insurance to give that extra piece of mind.

It's a menu we created as a celebration of life memorial dinner party for 15 guests and they want an updated version of a food world tour the same one the couple did a few back its so personal and a real celebration

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

we offer a bespoke and personal service to our clients and work with them to create a menu everyone would like and it honuoured the life of the deceased and all our menus are seasonal, locally produced, and fresh

What do you love most about your job?

running the nation's only purpose-driven food and hospitality business to give 15% of its revenue to help create a world where no one goes hungry and we are the first to incubate, launch, grow, and then gift its operations to those who want to run their own business or want to give back to society. They can apply to take over and existing business or we apply for a grant of up to 20K and we provide kitchen space, know how, mentorship and training so they are armed with the skills to grow the business, so they will always be able to put bread on the table of their family and the tables of families of those our purpose supports.

What inspired you to start your own business?

As the founder of Wonderland Events and Catering, we had the idea to separate the business as a stand-alone brand in JAN 2024. However, the idea for a wakes and funeral catering business came about after I tried to organize my mother's wake. It became so stressful because there was no provision of the services we wanted, so we did it ourselves. As a result, more and more people wanted to work with us.
